OM642 Timing Chain Retention Tool
We designed this tool to solve one specific problem that every technician runs into during an OM642 timing chain replacement.
When replacing the timing chain, it's very easy for the chain to slip off the camshaft sprocket. Once that happens, the camshaft can rotate under valve spring pressure, making the repair significantly more difficult.
Our tool securely retains the timing chain on the camshaft sprocket throughout the replacement process, helping keep the camshaft in position while the old chain is removed and the new chain is installed.
Simple idea. Huge difference.
A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag.

If a product fails due to materials or workmanship, we will repair or replace it.
