How to keep your armrest looking new for years ?Your SprinterArmor armrest is built with automotive-grade real leather (or premium Alcantara, depending on your finish). With just a little occasional care, it will stay clean, soft, and comfortable for the lifetime of your van.

This guide shows you the best products to use and the simple routine to protect the leather from dirt, UV, body oils, and daily driving.

✔ Quick Care Routine (3 steps)

Repeat every 1–3 months depending on use

1️⃣ Wipe down
Damp microfiber cloth to remove dust and sweat

2️⃣ Clean gently
Mild leather cleaner or diluted soap
(avoid household chemicals)

3️⃣ Condition
Automotive leather conditioner to restore softness + UV resistance

🕒 Total time: 3–5 minutes

🧴 Recommended Products

Automotive-grade only:

Avoid:

• Baby wipes

• Alcohol-based cleaners

• Harsh household soaps

• Silicone polishes (they trap dirt)

☀️ UV & Heat Notes

Sprinter door panels can heat up quickly in sun.
High heat + sweat can dry leather faster.

Suggestions:

• Use windshield sunshade when parked long term

• Condition 2–3 times per summer if in hot climate

• Avoid leaving windows open in dusty areas

💧 Cleaning Alcantara (if you chose suede)

✓ Use fabric-safe cleaner
✓ Brush fibers gently with a soft upholstery brush
✓ Let it dry fully before leaning on it again

❌ Do not soak with water
❌ No leather conditioners on Alcantara
❌ Avoid vigorous scrubbing

🚫 Things to Avoid (Important)

To keep your armrest beautiful:

• Don’t use Magic Eraser or abrasives

• Don’t spray cleaners directly onto the leather

• Don’t use hand sanitizers or degreasers on it

• Avoid sharp objects or keys on the pad

• Don’t leave sunscreen/oil residue sitting on leather (wipe same day)

These can damage the surface finish.
